100 Years of Family History

As Told By John Reynolds

My parents, Edward and Mary, purchased this farm in 1956. My dad and his brother were partners, and my uncle still lives down around the corner from us. I was the youngest of 7 kids, and my older brother Jim helped me run this farm for many years.

Right now, the farm has dairy cattle and a dairy operation. We work with two area FFA chapters and their Alumni and have a 100-year family history farming in the community. I still have my father's FFA jacket — he was 2nd vice president of New York State in 1947-48."

FFA chapters involved in the Reynolds barn preservation are: Albion, Genesee Valley BOCES, Albion Alumni
