Frank White Garden
New York, NY

The Frank White Garden is located next to Brotherhood Sister/Sol, a community organization in Harlem. In Spring 2009, Campbell, FFA students, and Urban Farming volunteers planted the community garden as well as installed an Urban Farming Food Chain Edible Wall™.

The Urban Farming Food Chain Edible Wall™ is an innovative vertical garden that will produce tomatoes grown from Campbell's seeds that, along with the other produce grown in the garden, students can harvest and bring home to their families or share with their community. It's a very creative way to grow food with limited space!

The FFA chapter involved in helping construct
the Frank White Garden is: Uniondale High School

We're really all about growing food…and teaching people how to grow sustainable gardens in their communities...so that they can have a cost-effective way to grow their own food and learn more about where their own food is coming from. --Taja Sevelle, Founder and Director of Urban Farming
